Day 2: Bucharest – Sibiu
After a delightful breakfast, start your day with a brief tour of Bucharest, where you will visit iconic landmarks such as the Palace of Parliament, Stavropoleos Monastery, and the National Bank of Romania. Stroll through the serene Herastrau Park, explore the fascinating Village Museum, and admire the grandeur of the Arch of Triumph.
Later, begin your journey to Sibiu, a beautiful medieval city that was named the European Cultural Capital in 2007. As you drive, you'll pass through picturesque villages and historic castles, including Poenari Castle—believed to be the original home of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration behind Bram Stoker’s legendary Count Dracula. In Sibiu, enjoy views of the majestic Fagaras and Cindrel Mountains and visit highlights such as Big Square, Small Square, and Huet Square. Day 3: Sibiu – Borgo Pass
Today, you’ll journey through the very land that inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Discover the myths and legends as you stop for lunch at the famous Bran Castle Restaurant, linked to Dracula’s legend. After savoring local flavors, you’ll continue your journey to Borgo Pass, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to spend the night at the fabled Castle Dracula.
