  • Day 1: Arrive In Bucharest

    Your journey begins at the Henri Coanda International Airport, where your Lux N Travels tour manager will welcome you with warmth and assistance. Once you’ve completed the transfer formalities, check into your luxury hotel and begin to explore Bucharest at your leisure. Take a stroll through the heart of this vibrant city and immerse yourself in the energy and elegance that surround you.

  • Day 2: Bucharest – Sibiu

    After a delicious breakfast, we embark on a scenic journey to Sibiu, a beautiful town that boasts a rich medieval history. On the way, we’ll visit the Monastery of Horezu, a stunning architectural masterpiece dating back to 1690. Continuing our journey, we stop at Cozia Monastery for a moment of peace. Arriving in Sibiu, check into your luxury hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

  • Day 3: Explore Sibiu

    Sibiu’s cobblestone streets, colorful facades, and rich history make it a must-see destination. We’ll visit the ASTRA National Museum Complex, one of Europe’s largest open-air museums, as well as the Stairs Passage and various medieval fortresses. The Museum of Glass Painted Icons is another highlight, showcasing beautiful Romanian craftsmanship. After a delightful lunch, spend your afternoon leisurely exploring the town’s charming streets.

  • Day 4: Sibiu – Hunedoara – Sibiu

    Today, we travel to Hunedoara to visit Corvin’s Castle, one of Transylvania’s largest and most impressive medieval fortresses. Explore the castle’s fascinating history, particularly the Last Defence Tower, which dates back to the 1440s. Later, we stop in the city of Deva to visit the ancient fortress before returning to Sibiu for a relaxing evening.

  • Day 5: Sibiu – Alba Lulia – Cluj Napoca – Baia Mare

    After breakfast, we begin our journey north towards Alba Lulia, a city with deep historical roots, dating back to Roman times. Explore the Alba-Carolina Citadel, the Reunification Cathedral, and the charming Saint Michael Cathedral. We then head to Baia Mare, where you’ll check into your hotel.

  • Day 6: Explore Maramures

    Maramures is where time seems to stand still, with its ancient traditions and stunning wooden churches. As we pass through the dramatic Prislop Pass, prepare for breathtaking mountain views. We’ll reach Gura Humorului, a charming town in Bucovina, where you’ll spend the night at a luxury hotel.

We’ll also visit Marginea, known for its unique ceramic workshops.

  • Day 10: Sighisoara – Brasov

    We begin our journey toward Brasov, with a stop at Prejmer to visit the Peasant Fortified Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving in Brasov, we will explore this medieval town’s Gothic, baroque, and Renaissance architecture, including Council Square and the Black Church.

    Today, we delve deeper into Brasov's beauty. Visit the famed Bran Castle, the fortress associated with Dracula, and then explore Peles Castle, the former royal residence, nestled in the Carpathian Mountains. Both castles offer a fascinating glimpse into Romania’s royal history.

  • Day 15: Explore Bucharest

    Spend your last full day in Romania exploring Bucharest’s highlights, including Revolution Square, the People’s Salvation Cathedral, and the Romanian Athenaeum. Wander through the flea markets to find unique antiques, ceramicware, and handicrafts to take home.
