Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi – Dive Into the Heart of Vietnam
Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, a warm welcome from our Lux N Travels representative awaits you. After checking into your hotel, we’ll embark on a memorable tour through Hanoi’s historical landmarks.
You’ll start with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, a tranquil spot that holds the stories of generations. Next, take a stroll around Ba Dinh Square, Vietnam’s largest square, where monumental political events have unfolded. Here, you’ll have the chance to capture the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside.
The adventure continues with a cyclo ride around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, a delightful way to explore the city’s vibrant streets. Stop by Ngoc Son Temple on the Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the “Sword Lake,” a picturesque spot steeped in legends. As the day winds down, retreat to your hotel for a peaceful night in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Tam Coc & Hoa Lu – A Glimpse of Ancient Vietnam
After a hearty breakfast, we set off on an unforgettable journey south to Ninh Binh. This region, once the capital of Vietnam, is famed for its dramatic landscapes, where the past and present blend seamlessly.
Your first stop is the stunning Tam Coc, often called “Halong Bay on land,” where you’ll cruise through tranquil waters surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. The boat ride offers a chance to take in the breathtaking natural beauty of Tam Coc Caves.
Next, explore Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, home to temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, who ruled during the 10th century. Here, you’ll experience the serenity of ancient Vietnam. After a delicious lunch, you’ll return to Hanoi for the night, filled with memories of a day well spent.

Day 3: Hanoi to Halong Bay – Embrace Nature’s Wonders
Today, venture east to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its mesmerizing karst limestone islands and emerald waters. After breakfast, you’ll board a traditional wooden boat for a relaxing cruise through this magical bay.
As you sail through Halong’s enchanting waters, you’ll pass islands with captivating names such as Cock-Fighting Rock and Incense Burner Rock. During your cruise, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on board and explore hidden caves or indulge in some kayaking or swimming in the bay’s clear waters.
As evening falls, you’ll stay overnight on the boat. Enjoy a dinner under the stars, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the water, and let the serenity of Halong Bay wash over you.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Saigon – A Journey of Contrasts
After breakfast on the boat, enjoy a final round of sightseeing around Halong Bay, with the chance to visit some of its unique islands. The journey continues with a scenic drive back to Hanoi, where you’ll catch a flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).
Upon arrival in Saigon, we’ll take you to your hotel, where you’ll check in and have the rest of the day to unwind. Saigon’s vibrant energy and fusion of history and modernity will captivate you as you prepare for the next part of your adventure.

Day 5: Saigon – Mekong Delta – A Taste of Southern Vietnam
This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading south to the Mekong Delta. Known as the “Rice Bowl of Vietnam,” the delta is a place of thriving nature and unique river life.
You’ll embark on a boat ride through the vast network of waterways, visiting one of the four islands in the area. Glide through narrow canals on small boats rowed by locals, and enjoy local treats like honey tea and coconut candy. In the quiet, picturesque village, you can also stroll through a garden where locals care for honeybees.
A horse-cart ride will then take you through the village, offering a glimpse into rural life along the Mekong. After a delicious lunch featuring Elephant Ear Fish, you’ll return to Saigon. Along the way, stop at the Vinh Trang Pagoda, an architectural blend of Chinese, Cambodian, and French styles. Spend the night in Saigon, reflecting on your journey through this southern gem.

Day 6: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – The Legacy of War
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary relic from the Vietnam War. This intricate network of underground tunnels was used by the Viet Cong to survive and fight the enemy. Crawl through some of these tunnels and imagine life underground during one of the world’s most intense conflicts.
In the afternoon, return to Saigon, where you can spend time shopping in the lively markets. From the bustling Ben Thanh Market to the upscale Diamond Plaza, Saigon offers something for every shopper. Find local handicrafts, souvenirs, and more. Tonight, enjoy a restful night at your hotel in Saigon.

Day 7: Departure from Saigon – Farewell to Vietnam
After your final breakfast in Vietnam, you’ll be transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination, carrying with you the memories of a wonderful journey through Vietnam.
