Day 2: Nuuk – Half-Day City Tour

After a delicious breakfast, your journey continues with a half-day guided city tour. Nuuk, with its rich history dating back to 1728, is a city where past and present meet. Visit the Colonial Harbour, a picturesque area that captures the essence of Nuuk’s maritime history, and explore the Greenland National Museum, home to fascinating exhibits showcasing Greenland's cultural heritage. You’ll also discover the Nuuk Art Museum and the Katuaq Cultural Centre, where art and history merge beautifully.

Day 3: Nuuk – Boat Tour to Kangeq

After breakfast, embark on a scenic boat tour to Kangeq, a former traditional fishing village abandoned in the 1980s. The journey is as spectacular as the destination, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a chance to witness Arctic wildlife like seals and whales. You’ll pass by the abandoned homes of Kangeq, now a poignant museum of sorts, and hear tales of the political upheavals of the 1950s and 1960s, which led to the village’s abandonment.

Day 5: Ilulissat – Eqi Sermia – Ilulissat

The glacier, which stretches over 4 kilometers wide and rises 200 meters above the water, is a mesmerizing sight. Depending on your chosen package, you can opt for a closer experience, either hiking to the glacier’s moraine or staying near the glacier for a unique encounter with this natural wonder. Enjoy lunch and coffee during the boat ride as you pause to admire the sheer scale and beauty of the glacier.
