Day 1: Arrival in Taipei

Day 2: Taipei to Sun Moon Lake

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Sun Moon Lake, one of Taiwan's most iconic and tranquil destinations. Nestled in the center of the island, this serene lake is surrounded by majestic mountains and rich cultural heritage. Begin your exploration with a visit to Wenwu Temple, dedicated to Confucius and Kuan Ti, and continue to the Holy Monk Shrine and Ci En Pagoda for stunning views and a sense of spiritual peace.

After your exploration, check into your accommodation and indulge in the soothing natural hot springs at the Fleur de Chine Hotel, Sun Moon Lake. Enjoy a range of activities, from walking trails to boating on the lake, before a relaxing night at your hotel.

Day 3: Sun Moon Lake – Foguangshan Monastery – Kaohsiung

Enjoy a hearty breakfast, then continue your journey to Foguangshan Monastery, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in southern Taiwan. Immerse yourself in the teachings of Buddhism as you take a guided walking tour, exploring the majestic Buddha Memorial Centre and engaging in meaningful exchanges with monks. After the monastery, indulge in a traditional Buddhist vegetarian lunch (optional).

Next, we journey south to Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s second-largest city. Explore the Love River, which winds through the city, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Liuhe Night Market, where you can sample local delicacies. After a fulfilling day, settle in for an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel in Kaohsiung.

Day 4: Kaohsiung, Kenting, and Zhiben Hot Springs

Today, prepare to explore the Kenting National Park, located at the southernmost tip of Taiwan. The park's stunning coastline features over 37 miles of coral-lined shores, perfect for nature lovers. Visit the Eluanbi Lighthouse, take in the beauty of the Maobitou coastal area, and relax in the serene Longpan Park.

In the afternoon, we travel towards Taitung, a peaceful and less explored region. Here, you will unwind at the Hotel Royal Chihpen, where you can soak in the natural hot springs, rejuvenating your senses before spending a restful night in Taitung.

Day 5: Taitung to Taroko Gorge – Exploring Taiwan’s East Coast

After a satisfying breakfast, embark on an unforgettable East Coast Tour, visiting Taiwan's "last unspoiled paradise" along the East Coast National Scenic Area. This 170-kilometer stretch showcases dramatic landscapes shaped by the elements over millions of years.

Along the way, visit the remarkable Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, and Shitiping (Stone Steps), each offering breathtaking views of the coastline and unique geological formations. Stop by a marble factory to see artisans at work, shaping the island’s iconic stone. In the late afternoon, we will travel to Hualien, where you’ll spend the night nestled in the heart of Taroko National Park.

Day 6: Exploring Taroko National Park and Return to Taipei

Rise early for a day of natural wonders in Taroko National Park, home to the stunning Taroko Gorge. A narrow ravine carved by the Liwu River, Taroko Gorge is a masterpiece of nature, with towering marble cliffs, lush forests, and rushing waters.

Along the scenic route, you will make stops at iconic spots such as the Tunnel of Nine Turns, Ci Mu Bridge, Swallow Grotto, and the Changchun Temple (Eternal Spring Shrine). After a full day of exploration, we will head back to Taipei for an overnight stay at your hotel, allowing time to reflect on the incredible landscapes and natural beauty of Taroko.

Day 7: Farewell Taipei

After a delightful breakfast, take a moment to savor the memories of your Taiwan adventure. A transfer will be arranged to take you to Taoyuan International Airport for your flight back home or to your next exciting destination. As you leave Taiwan, you’ll carry with you not just souvenirs, but the moments of connection and awe that only travel can provide.
