Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi – Begin Your Journey with a Touch of History
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly greeted by our Lux N Travels representative, who will escort you to your hotel in the city. Once you’ve settled in, you’ll embark on a journey through time, beginning with the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. Here, you’ll walk among beautiful gardens and well-preserved buildings, feeling the tranquility of Vietnam’s ancient educational history.
Your day continues with a visit to Ba Dinh Square, where you’ll capture the imposing presence of Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum from the outside. Then, we’ll head to the serene Hoan Kiem Lake and explore the picturesque Ngoc Son Temple. Later, immerse yourself in the charming Old Quarter of Hanoi with a unique bicycle tour, where you’ll uncover narrow streets filled with history, culture, and vibrant local life. Tonight, relax at your hotel in Hanoi, where your adventure truly begins.

Day 2: Hanoi to Halong Bay – A Majestic Seaside Adventure
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before we embark on a scenic drive through the lush Red River Delta to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This extraordinary bay, known for its dramatic limestone karsts and emerald waters, is a sight that will leave you breathless. Upon arrival, we’ll board a traditional wooden boat to cruise through the bay, passing striking rock formations like Stone Dog, Incense Burner, and Fighting Cock.
As we sail through this paradise, a fresh seafood lunch will be served onboard. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the stunning Thien Cung Cave, known as the “Heavenly Residence Grotto.” Alternatively, you can relax on the boat and soak in the serene surroundings. After four hours of exploration, we’ll return to the pier and drive back to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Hanoi to Saigon – A Vibrant City Awaits
After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), the bustling heart of Vietnam. Upon arrival, our local guide will take you to your hotel in the city center to check in and refresh.
In the evening, embark on a city tour that will take you through significant historical landmarks such as the Reunification Palace, the site where the Vietnam War ended in 1975. The museum inside is both moving and educational, while the tanks and planes outside offer a glimpse into the past. You’ll also visit iconic European-style buildings, like the City Hall and Opera House (viewed from the outside). A quick stop at the Notre-Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office will showcase their stunning architecture. Return to your hotel in Saigon for a peaceful night.

Day 4: Saigon to Mekong Delta – Discover the Heart of Southern Vietnam
After breakfast, you’ll head out for a memorable day exploring the Mekong Delta, the “Rice Bowl” of Vietnam. Board a boat to navigate the mighty Mekong River, watching life unfold along its banks. As we visit one of the four islands in the area, enjoy fresh tropical fruits and listen to traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.
Next, you’ll hop on small boats rowed by locals through the narrow canals lined with water coconut trees. A visit to local factories and a peaceful horse-cart ride through the village’s tranquil roads will deepen your understanding of this picturesque region. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll journey back to Saigon, making a stop to explore the Vinh Trang Pagoda, famous for its unique blend of Chinese, Cambodian, and French architectural styles. Spend the night in Saigon, reflecting on your Mekong adventure.

Day 5: Saigon – A Deeper Dive into the City’s Rich History – Fly to Siem Reap
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before continuing your exploration of Saigon. Visit the Reunification Palace, which once served as the Presidential Palace of South Vietnam. The tanks stationed outside, still preserved from the war, evoke the intensity of the era. Along the way, you’ll see more of Saigon’s colonial past, with stops at the City Hall, Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office.
In the evening, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax, enjoy the local surroundings, and get ready for a day of discovery tomorrow.

Day 6: Full Day Angkor Tour – A Journey into Ancient Wonders
After a delicious breakfast, your adventure continues with a full-day tour of Angkor, one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world. Your first stop will be the South Gate of Angkor Thom, known for its monumental entrance. Explore the awe-inspiring Bayon Temple, famous for its hundreds of serene stone faces, and then head to the Terrace of the Leper King, where intricate carvings tell ancient stories.
Next, you’ll visit Ta Prohm, a mesmerizing temple where ancient stones are intertwined with towering tree roots, creating a magical fusion of nature and architecture. The highlight of the day will be Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Its grand scale and intricate carvings will leave you in awe, as it represents the celestial model of the Hindu universe. Return to your hotel in Siem Reap to reflect on this unforgettable day.

After a final breakfast, your journey with Lux N Travels comes to a close. You’ll be transferred to Siem Reap Airport for your flight back home or onward to your next destination.
