No trip to Saigon is complete without a visit to Ben Thanh Market, where you’ll feel the pulse of local life and have the opportunity to shop for unique handmade goods. The evening is yours to explore or unwind at your leisure. You’ll spend the night in Saigon, resting in the comfort of your hotel.

After a delicious breakfast, we will head towards the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in My Tho, board a boat to cruise along the Mekong River, witnessing how locals live and thrive by the water. During your boat ride, stop at one of the four islands that make up this lush region.

Explore the small canals, navigated by local rowers, and experience the tranquil beauty of the water coconut trees. Visit traditional factories to taste honey tea and watch the locals craft coconut candy—you might even try making it yourself. Take a horse-cart ride through the peaceful village roads, soaking in the serene countryside atmosphere.

For lunch, enjoy a delicious meal of Elephant Ear Fish at a local restaurant by the river. On the way back to Saigon, stop to visit the stunning Vinh Trang Pagoda, where the fusion of Chinese, Cambodian, and French architectural styles will leave you in awe. Return to Saigon for an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, head out to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive underground network that played a crucial role during the Vietnam War. Discover how Vietnamese guerilla forces used this intricate system of tunnels to survive and fight. Experience firsthand how life was in the tunnels by crawling through parts of the tunnel system.

In the afternoon, you’ll catch a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Upon arrival, a warm Lux N Travels representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel, where you can relax for the evening. The day is yours to unwind in Siem Reap before the next day’s adventures.

Today is dedicated to discovering the awe-inspiring Angkor Temples. Begin your exploration at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, once the royal city of the Angkor Empire. Visit the extraordinary Bayon Temple, with its intricate architecture and mysterious faces carved into the stone.

Explore the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, both showcasing beautiful carvings that tell ancient stories. You’ll also visit Baphuon, an enormous temple mountain, and the Royal Palace Area, where the impressive Phimeanakas pyramid stands.

In the afternoon, continue to the enchanting Ta Prohm Temple, where nature and architecture have merged to create a captivating sight. Your day will culminate at the magnificent Angkor Wat—a temple so grand it seems to transport you to another world. With its five towering spires, intricate galleries, and stunning bas-reliefs, this temple is a masterpiece of Khmer architecture.

After a full day of discovery, head back to your hotel in Siem Reap for a restful night’s sleep.
